I have always been in love with art. Growing up I used drawing as my outlet to express myself, and as I got older I expanded my interests to photography and graphic art.

I attended The Art Institute of Charlotte from 2007-2011 studying graphic design and graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Photography. There, I was able to practice photographing different subject matter - portraiture, landscapes, still life, and even incorporating some graphic design into creating composites in Photoshop. 

Photographing people has always been a favorite of mine, but I continue to photograph a breadth of work because I believe as an artist, photography is boundless and certainly not limiting.

Traveling is also a passion of mine, exploring new places allows me to photograph new and exciting terrain. Taking photos of landscapes can be challenging because you are at the mercy of mother nature. You may not always get the spectacular sunset in every photo, and the lighting may not always be just right, but that's what makes it fun and challenging. I choose to expand my landscape portfolio, not only for personal growth and fulfillment but also in hopes to turn it into art for everyone else. 

I love seeing the world through my camera because it allows me to capture a moment in time that we will be able to look back on tomorrow, or years from now. It creates nostalgia when reminiscing but also guarantees history for generations to come.
