After 2 days of driving, and the ridiculous state of Texas, we finally made it to New Mexico, the land of enchantment. Our first stop was Carlsbad Caverns National Park and it was incredible!!! Such a huge cave created by water containing sulfur off gassing which eroded the limestone underground. After years of this, the small pockets of water and limestone turned into a massive cave. What's even more interesting is this is all in the middle of absolutely nothing! Rocks and cactus! We spent hours exploring the cave and seeing all the wonders inside.
